GOM Fall Conference

Kriev and I travelled down to Hastings, MN for the Guild of Metalsmiths Fall Conference.
It's a great event, and we participated in the pre-conference class with Gordon Williams,
each creating a "Wine Cellar Stool"
Bob Brown brought his treadle hammer, so I was lucky enough to create my grape vine leaves using it.
We also bought one to bring home! Yay! Once we're home from Toronto, it will be on our list of things complete setting up. :)

Gordon Williams teaching.

Pre Conference class...

Susan's beautiful clock!

Ernie Dorril's beautiful 15th Century Gothic metalwork... beaauuttiful!

Ernie Dorril on the Left.

Ernie brought some blueprints to share! O.M.G.

He actually passed them around so we could feel where the bumps are...

Stock used for the bench.

Carol's bench complete!

...jig for making the bench...

...another jig for the bench legs...

Both of our bench stock punched and drifted.

Close up of Carol's holes...

It was a beautiful weekend.
